Sam's abilities

Sam seems to have been given an undetermined amount of abilities to help him re-acquire Hell's escaped souls. These powers have been endowed unto him by The Devil. It is unclear how much control Sam has over these abilities, and whether or not they remain after a certain job is done. They seem to serve as 'clues' as such to lead Sam to the next soul. After a while however, it seemed the 'power clues' vanished, as if Sam was becoming too efficient for this.

- Sam shows signs of telekenesis.
- He moves a Work Bench shopping cart.
- He saves Andi's life when a heavy box almost crushes her.
- He stops Ned Schmecker's attack on Sock by pulling back the flames.
- He summons the Dirt Devil into his hand to capture Ned Schmecker.

- Electric conductivity.
- Sam channels lightning bolts from electrical storms.
- Sock is able to zap him with a touch.
- Sam is knocked back several feet when he touches a metal sign on the hospital.

- Insect manifestation.
- Sam's toothpaste turns into bugs.
- A bite of Sock's apple turns into a bug.
- Beer at The Brick House has a bug in it.

- Object teleportation.
- Sam's car keys disappear and show up later in Ben's apron pocket.
- After Sam's wallet disappears when he needs to pay cab fare, it shows up later in a bucket of paint.
[edit] "What About Blob?"
- Slipping.
- Sock wakes up Sam by flicking Fruit Loops at his face. When he gets up, he slips on the floor.
- Walking into The Work Bench, Sam has to hold Sock's hand because he slips in his shoes.
- After a conversation with Andi, Sam slips on his way out of The Work Bench.
- To compensate with this, he taped his shoes.
While all very interesting, it seems telekinesis has returned, for instance when he raised the washer machine when Tony tested him by having it drop on him.
